Thoroughly recommend this event for any runner’s ‘bucket list’. It’s incredibly well organised with plenty of water, fuel and Vaseline (!) stations along the 26.2 mile route. The crowd lend fantastic support all the way around.
Plus you get some nice goodies at the end.
Two Heathfield Road Runners took part this year. Roy was running for The Cure and Action for Tay-Sachs (CATS) Foundation – his JustGiving page can be accessed here http://bit.ly/1mVETvV
Roy Cooper – 3.32.08
Rowan Baker (me) – 3.37.15
