Heathfield Road Runners join the London Marathon!

Heathfield Road Runners were amongst almost 40,000 people ran in the 2016 London marathon on Sunday 24th April, setting off from Greenwich Park in south-east London and taking in 26.2 miles of the world’s most famous marathon event.

Joining runners dressed as hotdogs, bananas, dinosaurs and superheroes as well as celebrities including Chris Evans, former footballer Danny Mills and Dame Kelly Holmes, four Heathfield runners completed the course.

Well done also to David and Tony who were also raising money for the Lymphoma Association and Action for Hearing Loss.

Don’t forget the ballot for the 2017 event opens on Monday 2nd May 2016 and will close at 17:00 on Friday 6 May 2016.
