In the final event of the 20 in the 2014 Sussex Grand Prix Season, 10 Heathfield Road Runners took on the challenging hills of the Crowborough 10k amongst a field of 400 runners.
This race, held this year on Sunday 30th November, has to be one of most challenging courses in the SGP calendar – Not only is it a two lap course, but the hill is a huge test of strength for even the most conditioned runner. Must come close to Back Lane on the Heathfield 10k route!
Well done to the HRR who completed the race. Thanks also to our team support from Roy Cooper!
First in for the club and fourth for his category was James Cox. The remaining results in order for HRR are below.
James Cox – 39.49 (30th) David Wollard – 42.11 (50th) Kim Foo – 43.57 (76th) Cedric Clemerson – 44.09 (78th) Rowan Baker – 44.31 (81st) Will Blanford – 47.04 (129th) Niki Marr – 52.00 (214th) Paulette Smith – 52.03 (216th) Fleur Blanford – 59.21 (316th) Louise Cottham – 1.07.01 (370th) Full invididual results can be viewed here.
